This quiet beach stretches for almost a mile. With 2 designated surfing areas, Croatan Beach is popular beach for locals to get away from the crowds of Virginia Beach during peak season. It is located just south of Rudee Inlet, about 5 minutes from the resort area and is popular for surfers and surf camps. Lifeguard services are now available for swimmers and surfers.
