Frying Pan Tower Flag Cam
The Frying Pan Tower Flag Webcam (often called the Tower Flag Cam) is a live streaming webcam with views of an American flag flying on a former Coast Guard light station located 32 miles off the coast of North Carolina. Originally built in 1964 to warn ships of the treacherous Frying Pan Shoals, it is now a unique offshore destination operated by the nonprofit FPTower Inc. for restoration, research, and eco-tourism.
The tower is 135 feet above the Atlantic Ocean, designed to resemble a steel oil drilling platform, commonly referred to as a “Texas Tower.”
