Live underwater barracuda webcam from Frying Pan Light Tower located approximately 35 miles southeast of Southport and Cape Fear, North Carolina. The Frying Pan Tower is an offshore lighthouse built in 1964 to provide warning to ships that they were nearing shallow shoals, with depths of only 35 to 50 feet. The light tower is important habitat for fish, sharks, barracudas and other marine wildlife that frequent the region.
